2026 Dion Yukon Snowshoe Race - Results

The final race in the 2026 Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series took place on Sunday, February 8, 2026 in Whitehorse, Yukon at the Dion Yukon Snowshoe Race.
Conditions were ideal with participants enjoying the beautiful 5.27 km course.
Yanik Freeman took first place in the men's race in a time of 34:32. Marc Chartrand finished second in 36:10, followed by Mario Villeneuave in third in 37:58.
Cynthia Freeman won the women's race in a time of 44:49. Shailyn Drukis finished second in 46:24, followed by Chloe Kennedy in third in 51:52.
A huge thank you to race organizers, volunteers and sponsors for making this race possible.
Final standings and results for the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series are being calculated and will be announced on February 10, 2026. The top three male and top three female will recieve a share of the $1,200 prize purse. The athlete who has participated in the most races will also be awarded the Frosty Foot Award.
