2026 Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series - Final Standings

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the 2026 Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series.
We had a great season with eight races taking place in Ontario, Quebec, BC and the Yukon. Points were awarded in each race with the highest point total being awarded the series champions, A $1,200.00 prize purse, donated by Snowshoe Canada, was shared between the top three male and top three female finishers in the series.
Bernie Hogan of Bancroft, ON once again repeated as the men's series champion with an impressive score of 37 points in the four races he participated in. Eliot Soderholm of Paul Smith's College, NY finished second with 20 points, followed by teammate Bryce Shannon of Paul Smith's College, NY in third also with 20 points. Eliot was awarded second place based on finishing with higher placings in head to head competition with Bryce in races they both ran.

Tanja Urbancic-Venemore of Pickering, ON claimed the women's crown as series champion with a score of 36 points in the five races she ran. Lisa Leskien of Sydenham, ON finished in second with 25 points, followed by Sheri Hogeboom of Kingston, ON in third with 21 points.

The Frosty Foot Award is given away annually to the participant who competes in the most races in the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series. The winner this year was Bryan Lambert of Newburgh, ON who competed in five races. Bryan recieves a $100 gift certificate from Spafford Health and Adventure. (Note: Cash prize winners are ineligible for the Frosty Foot Award).
