2026 Dion Ignite the Night Snowshoe Race - Results

The 11th Annual Ignite the Night Snowshoe race took place under what can only be described as ideal conditions. After a midweek melt followed by a heavy snowfall, the stage was set for a beautiful run amongst the lights of Upper Canada Village. This record-setting event saw 157 racers register and participate in either a 5 K or 10 K distance.
The 10km event awarded points towards the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Running Series.

The next race in the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series is the Snowy Soles Snowshoe Race, scheduled for January 24, 2026, in Castleton, ON. Registration is still open—don’t miss your chance to participate!
The next local event will be the 12th Annual Summerstown Forest Dion Snowshoe Race on Saturday, February 7th.
