The 2026 Fat Shoe Snowshoe Race took place on Saturday, January 17th in Vernon, BC at the Silverstar Mountain Resort. Participants were able to compete in various events including a Fat Bike Race, Snowshoe Race or a Fat Bike/Snowshoe Duathlon. The snowshoe only event awarded points towards the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series . Men’s Race: Ivo Rytir from Enderby was the first snowshoe racer to cross the finish line in a time of 29:04. Daron Cope of Rossland finished second in 3
