2024 Dion Yukon Snowshoe Race Results (Series Finale and Series Results)
DION YUKON SNOWSHOE RACE
The final race in the 2024 Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series was held on Thu, March 21 in Whitehorse, Yukon.
With the snow disappearing fast in Whitehorse, organizers felt fortunate to be able to run this on snow with snowshoes. Participants were treated to warm temperatures on race day of +5C.
Scott Williams was the top finisher of the day with finishing the 5.2km race in a time of 28:56. Gunner Wagner was the second male finisher in a time of 35:33, followed by Tyler Bradford in third in 42:00.
Judith Van Gulick was first female to finish in a time of 38:06. Cindy Freeman was second in 38:32, followed by Janet Clarke in third in 40:13.

With the conclusion of the series, we are pleased to announce the top three male and top three female finishers in the series, who will split the $1,200 prize purse….

1st place - Charley Murphy (47 points) - $300.00
2nd place - Bernie Hogan (40 points) - $200.00
3rd place - Peter Millican (15 points) - $100.00
Female
1st place - Tanya Urbancic-Venemore (35 points) - $300.00
2nd place - Rachel Thiessen (20 points) - $200.00
3rd place - Rebecca Davis (19 points) - $100.00
DION CANADIAN SNOWSHOE SERIES FROSTY FOOT AWARD
The person who completed the most races in the Dion Canadian Snowshoe Series will be awarded a $100 gift certificate from Spafford Health and Adventure. (Note: Series prize money winners not eligible for this award).
The 2024 Frosty Foot Award Winner is John Davis, who completed 4 races in the series.
