2017 Sydenham Fall Trail Run - Results

Congratulations to everyone who participated in today’s Sydenham Fall Trail Run!

The weather was ideal and made for a fast day of racing.

Julie-Anne Staehli of Kingston was the story of the day winning the women’s race while setting a new course record of 27:05 for the 8km trail run. This bettered the previous course record set by Victoria Coates in 2014 of 28:07 by an astounding one minute and two seconds.

Brogan MacDougall of Kingston also beat the previous course record running a fast 27:38 for second place. Paula Wiltse of Brockville finished third in 31:00. The top masters female (over 40ys) was Tammy Stanton of Perth Road Village in 36:57.

Dylan O’Sullivan of Harrowsmith ran the fastest time of the day to win the men’s race in 26:24. Spencer Raby of St. Catharines was second in 27:00, followed by Clay Patterson of Kingston in third in 27:32. Tim Gillespie of Kingston was the top master in 29:30.
