Land O' Lakes Winter Ultra, March 2020 - A Sneak Peak at Trails in the Area
Course planning and logistical preparation is under way for a new winter format race to be hosted by Spafford Health and Adventure in March of 2020. This will be a unique racing experience in Ontario, with the mixed mode divisions of the arctic format which gives racers a choice of using skis, fat bike, or going on foot.
The race summary is now live, and there will be numerous updates with specific race information added throughout this winter as decisions are finalized. Registration will open March 1, 2019.
Over the past several weeks we have started scouting trails in the area to finalize race distances and courses. Here is a taste of the beautiful landscape that awaits you in the Land O' Lakes Addington Highlands, nestled in the remote and rugged land between McArthur Mills (just east of Bancroft) and Denbigh (north of Bon Echo Provincial Park).
